Is this jazz? Is it rock? It’s definitely not electronic music as we know it. Macula Dog take the power back from the machines and restore a kinetic immediacy to electronics that has been missing both on record and in performance. To draw a parallel, Arab on Radar did to “punk” music what Macula Dog is doing to “electronic” music: approaching from a shockingly fresh and surprising angle that baffles and delights with bombastic sonics and disjointed rhythms.

What the even actual fuck is this song? Macula Dog's ability to layer rhythms and textures coupled with the vocal syncopation is absolutely next level. The production on this song is insane. 4:40. No one is as good as this band!! "Suck it" everyone but Macula Dog!!
